Levy Court honors former journalist Tamra Brittingham

Kent County Levy Court posthumously honored Tamra Brittingham with a Kent County Medal. Ms. Brittingham was honored for work as a journalist and for creating the Starrlight Fund, a foundation to help women in Kent and Sussex Counties pay for on-going ovarian cancer treatment. Ms. Brittingham died one year ago after a four year battle with ovarian cancer. Members of Ms. Brittingham’s family were in attendance to accept the medal on her behalf.
