AeroPark Development Authority:

The purpose of the Kent County AeroPark Development Authority is to develop, promote and administer the Kent County AeroPark, located on Horsepond Road, Dover, Delaware. The Authority consists of eight members, individuals representing the following organizations and geographic areas in Kent County:
OEDP Committee
Kent County Levy Court
City of Dover
State of Delaware - Development Office
Kent Economic Partnership whose residences or businesses are geographically located as one (1) in the northern, one (1) in the central and one (1) in the southern part of Kent County;
Dover Air Force Base (ex-officio member);
Delaware Department of Transportation (ex-officio member).

Members of the Authority are appointed for a two year term. Regular meetings for the transaction of business are held in January, March, May, June, September and November. Meetings are held at the Kent County Administration Building, 555 Bay Road, Dover, Delaware, 19901, at such time as designated by the Chairman of the Authority. At all meetings of the Authority, the presence in person of five (5) members shall be necessary and sufficient for a quorum. Queries should be directed to the Executive Director of the Kent Economic Partnership.

An annual report is prepared on the activities of the Authority and presented on or before September 1, to Kent County Levy Court, OEDP-Committee, State of Delaware, City of Dover and other agencies deemed appropriate. A quarterly report of the activities of the Authority is presented to the commissioners of the Kent County Levy Court at their regularly scheduled Levy Court meeting.
