National Trails Day Ride and Stride on the St. Jones Greenway

March 31, 2010 - - - Did you know there are walking and biking trails in Dover?
Celebrate National Trails Day, June 5, when the City of Dover and Kent County hold their first Dover Trails Fun Ride and Stride. Enjoy a great walk or bike ride on the St. Jones Greenway trail and the trails of Silver Lake Park and discover these great facilities. Fun and FREE for the whole family! The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Silver Lake Park (Beach Side) or at the St. Jones Greenway trail entrance off Public Safety Boulevard behind Winner Ford in Dover.

 

Parks Division

Acquires, develops and maintains all County park land and suburban parks. Serves as staff to the County Parks and Recreation Commission and the St. Jones Greenway Commission.
