LET’S GET MOVING - This class is geared for ages 55+. Clayton Elementary School, Clayton. Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:00 – 5:45 p.m. Seniors who want to get their bodies moving once again need not look any further. This workout is aimed at improving your cardiovascular health, increasing energy, coordination, and muscle tone. No floor work. All of the moves are done either sitting or standing. Day Change - YOGA - Sunnyside Elementary School, Smyrna. Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:10 – 6:40 p.m. Yoga teaches a gentle and accepting attitude toward one's body. Yoga begins with simple breathing exercises and stretches intended to clear the mind as well as open up the lungs. Most people beginning yoga will experience measurable progress in their strength and flexibility after a week or two of daily practice. It is more often regarded as a beneficial form of physical exercise which requires mental focus and discipline in order to maintain one's poise and balance. Clothing should be comfortable to allow free movement.
