Monday, April 15 - - - Parks and Recreation would like to announce plans for the upcoming summer season of Day Camp. No registration for day camp at this time. Please wait for the mailing of the Summer 2013 Brochure to register. Read the write up below:

SUMMER DAY CAMP

Ages 6 to 12. W.B. Simpson Elementary School, Camden. Camp runs from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Camp will be held June 17 – August 9.   Activities include arts & crafts, table games, sports, nature activities, and special visitors. Children must bring lunch, drinks and snacks each day. The cost is $66 per week/per child except for the holiday week of July 1 – 5 (4 days), which is $53.

Camp registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.  No phone-in registrations accepted, but for your convenience payment can be made with a credit card by mail, fax or online.  No child will be allowed to attend any camp week that is not paid in full. No registrations or payments will be accepted by Camp Staff. Camp rules can be requested before the start of the first week. Campers not following rules may be dismissed without a refund.  Maximum number of participants per week – 50. If you have any questions about registering, please call Parks & Recreation at 744-2495.

 

Kent County Parks and Recreation provides both general and direct supervision of its Summer Day Camps.  Supervision is provided at a ratio of 1 counselor per 10 children.  If your child requires special accommodation, or constant care throughout the day, prior arrangements must be discussed with the Recreation Office before registration.


Friday, February 15 - - - The Spring Kent County Levy Court - Parks and Recreation Brochure has been mailed today! Look for it in your mailboxs this weekend. Offices are closed on Monday due to holiday. Registration for both in house and online will begin on Tuesday, February 19th at 8:00 a.m.
